This is a gathering of men, who meet fortnightly at Nordic Café and Deli, [near Coles, in the shopping centre on the way to Sanctuary Cove] to have coffee and talk about any topic that is raised.  Some of the topics are current or very unusual and interesting.

Oddballs have been operating for many years now. There are men from all three churches attending. In addition, men who have been walking past the group have asked what was going on, and after being told what Oddballs is all about, they have asked whether they can come along also, and we now have a couple of those men, who attend every fortnight.

The idea behind Oddballs is if a man wants to talk to another man about a problem, then he knows men he can approach. This has occurred on many occasions. We usually have an attendance of between 13 to 16. Over time we have had a total of 20 men come along but several have passed away or stopped attending. We meet from 10.00 am to 11.00 am but occasionally we meet at 9.00 am and have breakfast together. Any men in the Parish are welcome to come along, or any friends who may be interested.
