The Men’s Breakfast is held in the hall behind the Holy Rood Church on a Saturday morning at 7.00 am. It is held on approximately eight Saturday mornings during the year, and the proposed dates are set out on a flyer that is available at the three Churches.

The cost is $5.00 for a hot breakfast, consisting of bacon, fried eggs, sausages, warm tomato or equivalent, toast, jam and tea or coffee. It has been said that, for the price, it is a very good breakfast. We have a team of ladies who come in early [6.00 am] to prepare the breakfast for the men. We thank them for their attendance every breakfast. After breakfast we put the tables and chairs away and then have a guest speaker. We usually have from 20 upwards of men attending and we have had some very interesting speakers in the past.
